Here are the written materials for all of the classes September 19th. All of the handouts are designed to supplement the class and reading them is part of the credit hours, but you probably don’t want to print all of them, because it’s about a bazillion pages. Each class has written materials that allows you to follow along with the class, but they’re long so you may not want to print them out.
Here’s what I would definitely print and bring. These deal with the most common issues that people have and you should find them helpful. (You bring a fully charged laptop if you want to do it electronically. FYI: We do not have a way to plug a bunch of folks in, so first come/first serve on the few plugs.)
From the OSHA/HIPAA section:
- HIPAA risk assessment
- OSHA handout
- Waterline Rule Georgia
From the ethics section:
- Georgia Ethics Dental and Hygiene law changes
My written materials for the class summarize the various guidelines and follow the class, but everything is super long so you may want to review and download some of the info (in case you don’t want to print it).
On the “Required plans” page, check out the different plans that we should have in our materials. If you have questions with any of them or would like some help, make sure you have a copy and we’ll go over it in the regulatory compliance workshop. Same with your OSHA/HIPAA manual. If you have questions, bring the manual and I’ll be happy to help.
